Easter Saturday

Good Friday fell on yesterday. Surprisingly, we stayed at home, lazing around, for me, I was watching drama for the whole day. Haha...as usual, this is my style, drama marathon. We didn't even have proper meal at home, anyhow cooked soup noodle to fill our stomach. No lunch, no dinner, but late tea and supper. What a day! But for me I really don't mind living in that way as once you stayed long enough in one place you'll be localised gradually and not as enthusiastic as the first few weeks.

Today, again, I stayed at home and Felicia went out to meet her friend in Brisbane but the meeting was cancelled and she ended up loitering alone on the Gold Coast. For me, I was thinking to go somewhere where I can sit down and have a book with me. But I didn't suggest and choose to stay at home to read newspaper and do laundry.

The weather here is transforming into a colder stage. My hands and feet are icing cold at all times. No choice, I wear socks, long-sleeve knit wear and long pants. Sounds a bit too exaggerating?? Yeah...I think so cos they do not wear that extreme. May be it's just me.

Last Saturday, Felicia and me went to Brisbane for city walk. We went to Museum of Brisbane, Queensland Museum, Gallery Of Modern Art and Queensland Art Gallery. They are located near to each other. So we were hopping from one to another without any vehicle aid.

Although I'm not very artistic and may not be able to appreciate the art pieces as much as those artists, I was enjoying myself in the state of art. Some of the visitors were taking notes on the arts works. The art works are so amazing and some of them mesmerizing me so much. I admired their talents. There was one piece impressed me the most, it is from a korean artist. He used 'Hangul' characters to sketch a scenery drawing. It looks just like an ordinary pencil drawing if you were not looking closely. So impressive...I felt myself turned artist after staying there for sometimes.haha...

There is one corner in the Gallery of Modern Art displaying Jackie Chan's Movies, from the 80's to the latest New Police Story. It's so proud to see Asian productions are being displayed in a Western country. Besides that, they displayed numerous works of Asia Pacific's Artists, all kind of arts that you could possible imagine. You named it, they have it.

The best part is that they are all free admission and yet we could spend the whole day there. But the day ended with a bit of unfortunate incident, the train on the way back was stopped half way due to accident on the track. We were asked to alight and transfer by bus to the nearest available train station. The waiting time, the transferring time spent another one and a half hour on top of the original travelling time. We were totally mad. Grouchy and tired...But all the bad feelings were gone when we reached home cos the dinner was ready and it was so darn tasty. Thanks to Wayne again!!

Tommorow, has got no plan yet and neither on Easter Monday. Hmmm...How ah??
