First and Foremost
It’s a hot night. It’s already the 4th weeks of my stay in Gold Coast. I’m using dial up hence it’s pretty inconvenient to access to the net. There are 3 of us in a house and we are sharing a phone line. There you can easily imagine the situation. However, we still able to catch some free time to check email in the work place. It could save a lot of the loading times at home.My location now is at a suburb called Helensvale. I’m 45 min drive from Brisbane city and 30 min from Surfers Paradise, which is one of the famous beaches in Gold Coast. WB movie world is just 5min drive from my house and 15 min to reach Dreamworld. Both of them are theme park but with different attractions. Dreamworld is more to thrilling rides and all that whereas Movieworld has got the characters from WB cartons eg. Batman, Bunny, and blah blah…In only 3 weeks time, I’ve already gone to a few places. The most significant one is the glow worms’ trip on last Saturday night. They are something similar to Fireflies that we have in Kuala Selangor just that they are different type of creature. They have the luminous ability and it’s amazingly beautiful in a dark cave. We got to walk in the bush for 15 min to reach the cave. On the way we could hear the sound from the nature; from the running water…and etc. The place is called natural bridge located in Lamington Natural Park, 45 min drive towards the southern from us. We spent 90 min to travel just to enjoy the 15 min of fun it was a great trip. People actually come to see the glow worms by tour and it cost quite a bit of money. Phew…how lucky I’m! Big saving…The Aussie (OZ) just celebrated Australia Day on last friday. We went to southbank in Brisbane city to join the joyous moment. It's fun to get my first Aussie tatto on my face and neck. They had fireworks display at that night too. It's great but I believed we have campatible one in sg as well. The funniest thing is that I took a couple of videos of the fireworks but eventually I discovered my camera could not record the environmental sound. silly me...In the coming weekend they have Waitangi Day celebration which I have no idea what is that. I think should be NZ day or something like that. More funs coming up...
